Buhn school swimming pool complex, Zurich

Renovation work on the Buhn indoor school swimming pool in Zurich-Seebach began in early 2019 and was completed in 2022. An expansion of the below-ground technical rooms was necessary to accomodate modern technical and poolwater systems. The City Council approved expenditure of around CHF 10 million for the completion of this project.   In addition to the renovation of interior spaces and the building’s envelope, as well as implementation of current guidelines, focus was placed on the building technical systems, including special technology aiming to increase overall energy efficiency.
