Tannenrauch school swimming pool complex, Zurich

Renovation work on the Tannenrauch school swimming pool complex in Zurich-Wollishofen began at the start of 2019 and was completed in 2022. The Tannenrauch school swimming pool was newly equipped with a geothermal heat pump and a modern photovoltaic system. The City Council approved expenditure of around CHF 10 million for the completion of this project.

In addition to the renovation of interior spaces and the building’s envelope, as well as implementation of current guidelines, focus was placed on the building
technical systems, including special technology aiming to increase overall energy efficiency.
