School complex Heiget, Fehraltdorf

At the site of the Heiget school complex, a school space extension has been created in the form of a new 2-fold multi-purpose (sports) hall with a teaching swimming pool with lifting floor.
 
The old multi-purpose hall with teaching swimming pool was completely dismantled. The newly constructed multi-purpose hall with a stage and a school swimming pool meets today’s needs and fulfils all regulatory requirements.
Heating is provided by a district heating connection. All ventilation systems are equipped with highly efficient fans and a highly efficient recuperative heat exchanger. To ensure hygienically safe drinking water, various measures such as electronic fittings and hygienic flushing machines have been provided. To meet fire safety requirements, a smoke extraction system has been installed for the multi-purpose hall.
 
The total cost of the renovation project amounts to around CHF 25 million.
